Swami Sarveshananda

Inspired by H.H. Swami Chinmayananda, Swami Sarveshananda joined the Vedanta Course at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya in Mumbai in 1993. After completing the course in 1995 he was initiated as a Brahmachari (monk) and posted as the Resident Acharya of Chinmaya Mission, Vijayawada where he served until June, 2002.  Since then, Swami Sarveshananda has led and managed Chinmaya Mission Dallas/Fort Worth, which has a membership of over 700  people.

Swami Sarveshananda is also the National Director of Chinmaya Mission Yuva Kendra (CHYK) West, the youth wing of the Chinmaya Mission West.  CHYK West aims to increase spiritual awareness amongst youth and inspire them with a noble vision – to become positive, contributing members of society.   Since 2002, Swamiji has conducted retreats, workshops, service projects, classes and organized innovative youth programs all across America for teenagers, college students and young professionals.  Swamiji engages his audience with excellent public-speaking skills, humor and extensive knowledge of Vedanta.
